GRANTS
The Foundation provides valuable help and encouragement to scholars from all over the country and abroad through fellowships/scholarships/projects/ grants and support research proposals on Education, which have a significant policy orientation. In order to broad-base the educational research and to increase its outreach, scholars from backward regions are also encouraged.
Dr. Stya Paul Young Educationist Award
The ASERF has instituted the ‘Dr Stya Paul Young Educationist Award' for honouring Young Educationists who have demonstrated their potential by making an impact in the field of education. For more details, click here
ASERF- Grant of Research Fellowship/Scholarship
Apeejay Stya Education Research Foundation is also pleased to announce the introduction of a Grant for research work on the pertinent issues of School and Higher Education. The Foundation invites researchers to submit their proposal along with a synopsis for evaluation.
ASERF also announces Research Fellowship to Scholars from India and Abroad. This would encourage researchers to conduct research and development on education, including contemporary studies in India and Abroad, which will be globally competitive.
ASERF also confers honorary fellowships on eminent educationists for their contribution in the field of education.
Visiting Scholars
The Foundation offers facilities for upcoming scholars from abroad for their research. Foreign research scholars/students who wish to join ASERF as Visiting Scholars may write to ASERF or to the email address [email protected]
Assistance
The assistance under this scheme will be given to a maximum number of Five scholars each from India and Abroad during a financial year. The maximum assistance available to the Indian scholar would be Rs. 50,000 and to the upcoming research scholars from abroad would be US$ 1500/-. The amount would be released in three instalments in the following proportion: 50%, 30% and 20%; the final instalment will be released only after the submission of final report and utilisation certificate. The duration of the assistance would be up to six months.
Note: (It is important that the type of study/research for which the grant will be provided to the foreign scholars should be India specific. They should also clearly mention in their proposal as to how it is going to benefit Indian education system)
