Building up of Information Resource Base:
The Information resource centre of the Foundation fulfills the information requirements and serves as a nodal centre for dissemination of specialized information on Education related studies. Besides supporting Foundation's own academic and research programme, the support is extended to a wider scholars and institutions working in these areas. The centre is aiming to expand its network with a view to developing a comprehensive resource base on various issues, and make it available to a wider section of users involved in Research on Education.

Information Base:
The Centre focuses on developing a specialised information base on all thrust areas of the Foundation and also lays emphasis on building up a good collection on Educational Research. The centre also documents and maintains the Educational Statistics and primary data collected by the Institute's research teams.

Clientele:
Some of the clientele of the Foundation include, International agencies, government bodies, NGOs, national and international research institutions, and individual research scholars from national and international universities and research centres. The information resources centre also offers services to individuals working on similar topics as that of ASERF on membership basis.
